“ Hidden gem for the town. Up from the South coast visiting family in Scotland we were trying to find somewhere that would be really special for a family meal. This place did not disappoint. Proper Italian pizza with the best dough and crust I've had outside of Italy. The ingredients on the pizza were incredibly high quality too. Proper Italian meats, buffalo mozzarella that was incredibly fresh and creamy, unusual ingredients like truffle that you normally only find in high end restaurants. Nice selection of beers and wine too. The pizza oven here is imported from Italy and it's beautiful. You can watch the pizzas being made from the best table in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is really stunning inside with nice lighting and smart bathroom facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful but just one bit of advice for the young servers you should wait for everyone to finish eating before you start clearing others plates away. I was really surprised that the place wasn't busy on a Friday night. Maybe the location being a bit tucked away. Many thanks and good luck for the future. I only wish I didn't live at the other end of the country but I'm sure my family will be back soon. ”
